First SLO Maker Meet Up on Wednesday, January 22 at San Luis Obispo Museum of Art

Are you a Maker?
The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art (SLOMA) is hosting the first Maker Meetup on Wednesday, January 22 at 6 pm in the Gray Wing. Artist Michael Hannon will be featured, surrounded by his sculptures made of hammered copper, duct tape, and newspaper. A maker in every sense of the word, Mr. Hannon will answer questions about his methods and experiences. This is your chance to be inspired, meet other makers, and ask questions about how to get engaged in the next SLO Mini Maker Faire.

The second annual SLO Mini Maker Faire will be Saturday, May 10, 11 am – 3 pm on the Mission Plaza. The event is free and open to the public. Makers who wish to share their innovation and creativity at the next Faire can apply for spaces by downloading the Call For Makers from this website.
